The Citizens Three Goals to Nil Man United: Lauren Hemp on target in Manchester City dominant win.

Similar to Storm Claudia tore through the northern region the previous evening, Manchester City swept Manchester United away at the their home ground. It was a statement three-nil triumph for Andrée Jeglertz’s side owing to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Shaw and Lauren Hemp. Lineup Adjustments

Former City player Park came most likely to score, hitting the post, but the away team were lacking in ideas and failed to register a solitary shot on goal.

The hosts, on the other hand, could have added to their advantage when a superb Vivianne Miedema pass sent Bunny Shaw away only for her to fail to convert but it mattered little to the hosts. After failing to overcome any team who ended above them last season, Jeglertz’s side now have victories against Arsenal and United to put them in a commanding standing after the opening fixtures.
